August 15, 2008 • MSN 'Best Song' Poll:

MSN Entertainment surveyed over 1,200 fans in an online poll for our favourite Madonna song of all time. 30% of the voters chose 'Like A Prayer', topping the list. The runner up songs include: 'Vogue' (15%), 'Like A Virgin' (13%) and 'Papa Don’t Preach' (11%).

July 6, 2008 • Madonna Says No Divorce:

Madonna released an exclusive statement today to People Magazine regarding the recent reports of a divorce between her and husband Guy..

"My husband and I are not planning on getting a divorce. I know Alex Rodriguez through Guy Oseary, who manages both of us. I brought my kids to a Yankee game. I am not romantically involved in any way with Alex Rodriguez. I have nothing to do with the state of his marriage or what spiritual path he may choose to study."

"I have learned over the years not to take accusations and the many false reports about me very seriously. I also appreciate how fiction and fact seem to be perceived as one and the same by people who read both newspapers and the internet."

In other news, we've been keeping quiet for the past few weeks but we have been trying to keep the 'Sticky & Sweet' tour dates as up to date as possible.

May 24, 2008 • Madonna In Cannes:

Madonna makes an appearance at this year's Cannes Film Festival in support of 'I Am Because We Are' along with the Cinema Against AIDS charity gala. At the event, Madonna helped raised 350,000 Euros for amfAR by offering to sing two songs backstage during one of her 'Sticky & Sweet' shows. She was quoted to saying, "People have offered me millions to play at their Bar Mitzvahs".

'I Am Because We Are' will continue to be promoted at this year's Traverse City Film Festival in Michigan. Michael Moore announced that Madonna will appear at the August 2nd screening of her film and participate in a Q&A afterwards.

While Madonna was in France, during the season finale of 'Ugly Betty', many songs from 'Hard Candy' were plugged throughout the show and 'Jump' from COADF. Yeah!

May 1, 2008 • 2008 Tour Confirmed:

After an amazing performance at Roseland, Madonna confirms that she will indeed be going on tour this Fall. More details are coming!!

Madonna performed the following songs at Roseland: 'Candy Shop', 'Miles Away', 'Hung Up', '4 Minutes', 'Give It 2 Me' and 'Music'.

April 14, 2008 • Madonna Invades NYC:

Madonna begins her NYC trip with an appearance at a screening of 'I Am Because We Are' at the premiere of the Tribeca Film Festival. A pre-taped television interview for NBC's Today Show will also take place to promote the documentary.

Celebration! Madonna will return to the Roseland Ballroom in New York City on April 30th to celebrate the release of 'Hard Candy'. This one-night-only live event is presented by Verizon Wireless, Control Room and MSN. US fans can enjoy the show live on MSN.com on April 30th while International fans can enjoy the show on May 15th.

The 'Hard Candy' promotional tour continues on to Paris at Olympia Hall on May 6th. Oh la la!

April 1, 2008 • Magazine Covers:

At the end of the month, 'Hard Candy' will be released and Madonna is in full force to promote it. One media channel she is dominating is print and you can find her the latest issues of the following magazines: 'Dazed and Confused', 'Elle', 'Q' and 'Vanity Fair'.

The North American release of 'Hard Candy' will see four versions including: CD (2-421372), Special Edition CD (2-440444), Deluxe Edition LP (1-470972) and Digital Download on iTunes.

Bonus material will be made available in the Special Edition CD and Deluxe Edition LP - two bonus remix tracks of '4 Minutes'.. Tracy Young Mixshow (6:19) and Rebirth Mixshow (5:05). The packaging will also be very special for both - with a candy tin packaging for the Special Edition CD and two of three coloured candy-swirl discs for the Deluxe Edition LP set.

The inductees in this year's Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame include Madonna and she will be honoured in a ceremony tonight at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City. Congratulations M!

March 3, 2008 • Hard Candy:

Madonna's last studio album for Warner, titled 'Hard Candy' will be released on April 29th. Featuring 12 tracks (plus an additional track, 'Ring My Bell', for the Japanese release), Madonna worked with Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Pharrell Williams and Nate "Danja" Hills. The first single '4 Minutes' will be officially released later this month.

February 14, 2008 • International Flim Festival Berlinale:

Madonna's directorial debut 'Filth And Wisdom' premiered on February 13th and will be released in theatres soon after it is distributed on the Internet. 'Filth And Wisdom' is being made available as a download in the US and UK.

February 8, 2008 • Raising Malawi in NYC:

"A Night to Benefit Raising Malawi and UNICEF" event was held in NYC with the support of Gucci. The event brought many celebrities together and raised funds at the charity auction. Madonna attended the event with Lourdes.

January 25, 2008 • I Am Because We Are:

Madonna's documentary film project, about bringing the world's awareness to Malawi is called 'I Am Because We Are'. Next month, promotion will start to begin. 'I Am Because We Are' is written and produced by Madonna. Click here to learn more.

December 30, 2007 • Filth And Wisdom:

A directorial debut from Madonna will take place in between February 7-17, 2008 at the Berlin Film Festival! Her film is called 'Filth and Wisdom' and stars Richard E. Grant, Eugene Hutz and Stepehn Graham.
